A lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) engineering, procurement and construction project to design, supply, build and commission a new naphtha hydrotreating unit of 6,000 barrels a day and a reforming unit of 4,000 barrels a day. The project lets the refinery produce premium and regular gasoline for the Iraqi market, where its output had been limited to gas oil and heavy fuel oil. Design begins with an assessment of what the refinery produces today, and UOP uses the results of that assessment to refine the basic design of the gasoline technology.
